Spike didn't receive the news of Willow waking up, or even of her being
released from the hospital in almost perfect shape (she still had a few
healing cuts).  The night that she had woken up was the last he had visited,
he had gone looking for his black goddess, his sire, Drusilla.  He needed
her help in getting Willow to wake up, and maybe even to get Willow to love
him again.

The last he had heard Dru was in New Orleans; she was even well
respected.  She was supposedly living in a large mansion, in control of over
half of the vampire population.  Sure she was insane, but she was also
powerful and not to be messed with.  Spike left Sunnydale not knowing that
she was there, in town, and that she was hiding herself from him.

Willow, on the other hand, had gotten a note from Dru, telling Willow to
meet her in the park; she said that she could help Willow.  Word was out
that Willow wanted Spike to come see her, she was searching for him, she
wanted him back, but so far, there had been no response.

Entering a darker alley behind the Bronze, Willow spotted a stretch limo
with tinted windows immediately.  She strolled over to it, opened the door,
and got in without a second thought.  Once Willow was comfortable in the
deep leather seats of the vehicle Dru called out for the driver to take them
home.

The fortune queen of New Orleans
Was brushing her cat in her black limousine
In the back seat were scratches
>From the marks of men her fortune she had won
Couldn't see through the tinted glass
She said home James and he hit the gas
I followed her to some darkened room
She took my money she said I'll be with you soon

Willow followed Dru into the sun-proofed mansion.  Dru had been a
vampire longer than Spike (Angelus had seen her, wanted her, driven her
insane by pretending to be her priest and telling her seh was evil, and by
killing her family right before her eyes.  Since then her visions were
things that the stars and Miss Edith, her doll, told her).
On the way into Dru's workroom, she told Willow she no longer craved
Spike's company (while in truth, she just was doing what the stars had told
her was meant to be), and thought that Willow would make a wonderful
companion for her boy.

Dark Lady laughed and danced
And lit the candles one by one
Danced to her gypsy music
Till her brew was done
Dark Lady played black magic
Till the clock struck on the twelve
She told me more about me
Than I knew myself

Willow watched as Dru set up the circle.  She started with mixing the
herbs she preferred to use in her rituals to help her focus, then she sat
them in the chalk pentical.  Setting a chunk of amethyst at each point was
also used to help her focus, and an alter for each element finished off the
circle (the alters were: Earth for the North, Air for the East, Fire for the
South, and Water for the West.  Each alter held a candle and something that
represented it's element).

She dealt two cards a Queen and a three
And mumbled some words
That were so strange to me
Then she turned up a two-eyed Jack
My eyes saw red but the card
Still stayed black
She said the man you love is secretly true
To someone else who is very close to you
My advice is that you leave this place
Never come back and forget you ever saw my face

Willow had never used tarot cards, so she didn't have a clue as to their
meaning, but seeing the pout that graced Dru's lips, and the way that she
whined at the cards, showed that they refused to change.  "My boy 'as been
naughty. 'e is loyal to another, and you cannot 'ave 'im until 'e's done
with 'er."  Willow gasped.  She couldn't believe he had lied to her, she had
really believed him.  Getting up slowly she thanked Dru and left, forgetting
the purse she had set on the floor near the table.

Dark Lady laughed and danced
And lit the candles one by one
Danced to her gypsy music
Till her brew was done
Dark Lady played black magic
Till the clock struck on the twelve
She told me more about me
Than I knew myself

Spike entered Dru's second mansion through a back door.  "Dru?  Pet, I'm
'ome!"  He called out to her, wondering if he would get kicked out before he
was helped.

Dru smirked evilly at her cards, which in truth said that Willow needed
to listen to her heart and let it guide her.  Looking up at him, she put on
an innocent face, "My dear, sweet William.  Where 'ave you been?  The stars
ave been whispering,"  she made a psst, psst sound with her hands snaking
out and snapping at the 't' of the sound, before going on, "They said my
sweet boy would visit me soon."

Spike smiled in an almost condenscending way, Dru was so simple, he wasn
t even sure if she remembered that she had been the one to leave him.  "I
thought you were still in New Orleans, luv.  You didn't let me know you were
in town."

So I ran home and crawled into bed
I couldn't sleep because of all the things she said
Then I remembered her strange perfume
And how I smelled it once in my own room
So i sneaked back and caught her with my man
Laughing and kissing till they saw the gun in my hand
The next thing I knew they were dead on the floor
Dark Lady would never turn her card up anymore

When Willow reached the nearby park, she realized she was missing her
purse and headed back.  Entering Dru's house wihtou a sound she headed back
to the workroom and grabbed her purse.  Looking up she could see through to
Dru's bedroom, and she saw Dru and Spike kissing passionately.  Gasping, she
dropped the puse, no longer caring about it, and began to run. She had never
considered that Spike would still be loyal to his sire, the woman who had
abandoned him for someone more demony.

Dark Lady laughed and danced
And lit the candles one by one
Danced to her gypsy music
Till her brew was done
Dark Lady played black magic
Till the clock struck on the twelve
She told me more about me
Than I knew myself

Spike pulled away from Dru when he heard a noise.  He took a deep breath
and could smell Willow's perfume, glancing up quickly he spotted a flash of
red hair.  Throwing Dru to the side he ran after Willow as Dru began
giggling, before it turned into a musical chuckle.  Her plan was had been
executed perfectly, now, it was up to them.
